It helps develop an understanding of the specific role of humans in contributing to environmental change and the actions necessary to ensure that the changes occurring in the environment are well-managed and in line with ecological sustainability, social well-being, and equitable economic growth.
A strong foundation in understanding natural resources and their conservation and management is fostered. This programme hopes to produce scientifically minded individuals who can approach today’s environmental problems with innovative and creative solutions.
