Course Memo
The course is designed to provide participants with an overview of the basic economic concepts and issues relevant to their continued study and daily life pursuits. The course examines the central problem of scarcity and choice in economic societies, demand and supply theory, market equilibrium, production theory, the financial sector, fiscal policy measures, international economics and new economic developments, the systems of national income accounts, inflation and unemployment.
